What to expect from 2016 in terms of smartwatches

The world is getting more tech savvy than ever. The technology is making everything smarter and watches have become smartwatches in recent time. The coming year will be crucial and significant for the smartwatch industries for multiple reasons.

Smartwatches have not been very popular globally and there is plenty of scopes to penetrate larger scale of market. On the other hand, the brands are coming out with more smartwatches and improving the technology to establish it as the permanent solution. The entry of the luxury watches also indicate the alarming trend that can sweep the market for smartwatches. The coming year will see many releases in terms of the smartwatches but few of them will be very special and important.

Apple Watch 2

Apple debuted the market last year with the stylish Apple Watch. However, there are many things to be covered and many improvements to be made. Reports have already suggested that Apple is keen to release the next variant of the smartwatch as Apple Watch 2 in June, 2016.

The IOS specific watch would be again a game changer for the industry and expected to have loads of features. The most significant of the features would be the front facing video camera at the smartwatch. This will start the FaceTime Calls in the Apple Watch 2 and mark the new era of smartphones.

LG Watch Urbane 2

LG has made giant strides towards the smartphones ad the upcoming LG Watch Urbane 2 would be a great smartwatch to deal with. The best part of the device would be that it would now be able to receive and connect calls without the pairing of the smartphone. The new device would support the network connections ranging to 4G.

However, there would be change in the design as well. LG is reportedly looking for 1.38 inches P-OLED display. In terms of hardware, the smartwatch would be powered by Snapdragon 400 processor with 786 MB RAM. The 4 GB of internal storage would make it even more fascinating. The new smartwatch from LG would be compatible with IOS and Android and would be available in range of colors and variants with high quality of material. It is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2016.

Sony Wena

This is another highly anticipated smartwatch for 2016. This is a unique and special smartwatch that could change the track of the smartwatch industry. It would be like a metal bracelet watch typically like an Analogue watch. However, it would have sensors to track activity and at the same time it would have the LED and vibrations for other functions like other smartwatches.

However, the best part is that it can even make e-payment through the NFC Chip. The smartwatch is expected to be launched in Japan in March, 2016 but the releases dates for rest of the world.

The smartwatches are always considered as the future of the world and the staging of the future should start from the year 2016.
