The world is becoming digital, with every passing day and it is not slowing down as well. The trend of the health statistics and fitness trackers are not slowing down and that is making thing, even more, interesting for the market. Many big players are jumping to the potential market to cash in the situation and Google is not far behind. The newly featured Google Fit App is one of the latest entrants in the market. However, the best part of the Google Fit App is that it is clean and crisp. So, as far as the monitoring of the fitness data is concerned, it is very well presented. The Google Fit App also provides the accurate information and that can be regarded as one of the best in the market as well. The Google Fit App is available for free in the Google Play Store. However, one must remember that the app is supported in Android 4.0 and more versions. However, you can use it measure data with will Android Wears available in the market.

Xiaomi Mi Band-Cheapest Fitness band

Xiaomi is slowly becoming one of the leading Tech Giants and the scope of the company is increasing with each passing day. It has already showed steady and improving sells in the world and now it turns to the Wearable Devices. The new Xiaomi Mi Band is one of the cheapest and popular fitness trackers among wearable devices in the world. It comes with the great design, appeal and performance. Here is the complete review of the product that is responding with the storming sale.

Design

This is one of the best when it comes to the design. The sleek and fit wearable comes with a chrome finish. The edges of the devices are chamfered and most importantly these are appealing. The rubber band can be simple black or colorful. However, it does not look very expensive but is comfortable enough. However, you can always go for some accessories to wear it as a necklace as well. There is no display for the Mi Band but that can’t even expect for the low price range. However, there are three LEDs that indicate the progress of the activity.

The activity of the Mi Band is quite effective as far as the price range is considered. However, the device is meant for only basic activities. It can help to count the steps, calories burnt; sleep time and other similar things. However, as far as the quality of analysis and performance is concerned, it is of average standard. It is not highly accurate and not a poor one as well. Sometimes, overestimated analysis can be found. It also gives you the estimate about the fitness of certain day as per the workout. But overall, this is a performing wearable device that can turn the head of others.

Features

There are lots of features added in the Mi Band and that are quite satisfactory. The Mi Band is a waterproofing device that can be resistant to water for up to 30 minutes. The band can help you to set alarm and vibrates when you get a call. It can even work as smart secure locking device when you have got a Mi Phone. However, Xiaomi has not planned to roll out the features for the entire Android Phones.

Mi Fit App

It is an Android based wearable device but that works with the Mi Fit App. The App is available for all Android Devices and is quite simple. It is also pretty much easy to use. It can provide you all the details that you are looking for with your fitness tracker Mi Band.

Price

This is the most significant point of the Xiaomi Mi Band. The product is available for mere $15. However, the features and the performance of the device make it look costlier and better.

Xiaomi Mi Band is considered as one of the best wearable devices in this price range. However, when the price is considered in the market, it stands out among many in the world.

It is not only a tracker that can give you the details of the fitness. It can also give you the coaching and instructions to keep you motivated and encouraged for the fitness.

This comes with different apps with both Android and iOS. However, there are ways to utilize the wearable device. You can use the tracker for swimming, running, cycling or even cardio boxing. Are Luxury Smartwatches a necessity?

There was a time when there were only two choices watches and luxury watches. The Swiss watches are famous for the quality, style and fashion. However, things started changing after the introduction of the smartwatches. Tech giant companies started coming up with technology based watches that are doing many more a simple watch can do.

However, that started hurting the luxury watches in terms of sale. However, to stay afloat in the competition and in the market, the luxury watches like Tag Heuer and similar have jumped into the smartwatches business. It has been termed as the luxury smartwatches. But the question that comes up is the necessity of the luxury smartwatches.

So, here are the things that are to be considered for the luxury smartwatches.

Features

Features are very important when it comes to the Smartwatches. However, the luxury smartwatches lack as of now as compared to the normal smartwatches. It is true that luxury smartwatches are improving but as of now, these brands do not give anything spectacular apart from brand and quality. The smartwatches are called luxury brands but there is no such things that can make it one of the best in the market. As a luxury smartwatches maker, the companies must push for the technical specifications.

Alpina, MMT, Helvetica, Breitling, TAG Heuer and many others have started making their smartwatches with gold plated or diamond added features. true that the design is important and it is far way ahead of the smartwatches from Samsung, Apple, LG, Sony and others.

Why Luxury smartwatches

This is the most important part of the luxury smartwatches. The smartwatches provide you decent performance and functions. However, these are the best designed smartwatches in the market. But as far as the smartwatches are concerned, you look for tech specific features. Apple is coming with FaceTime Camera; Sony is coming with e-Pay. However, there are hardly anything specific launched by the smartwatches. The smartwatches are all about features than design and appearance.

The luxury smartwatches do not have digital display, popular apps and many basic requirements for smartwatches. However, you can connect the smartwatches with the mobile app and then use it for the basic functionalities. However, when it comes to the smartwatches, the luxury watches are better at design and more valuable than other smartwatches but these are not better than normal smartwatches.

Is Luxury smartwatches a necessity?

Well, luxury smartwatches are for valuable products and obviously luxurious. However, the smartwatches can be bought for status and brand value. However, the luxury smartwatches can't be considered necessity because you can get all of the benefits of smartwatches in normal Smartwatches but you will only get high priced and beautifully designed smartwatches.

As far as the necessity is concerned a user would not be interested to buy a smartwatch that does not have digital display and popular apps but is gold plated and costs around $1295 and more. The luxury smartwatches are still luxury not the necessary.

Casio joins the Android Wear club with their first smartwatch

Casio has launched the all-new Smart Outdoor Android smartwatch. Casio isn’t known for modern good-looking watches, and the latest is no different. However, it offers the good ol’ rugged feel that the company is known for. Designed for outdoors, it is a great companion for activities such as trekking and mountain biking.

The Smart Outdoor can measure altitude, air pressure and is water resistant up to 50 meters. It can measure sunrise and sunset timings, and also features a compass and accelerometer. On the hardware front, this Android watch comes with a double-layered LCD display with a monochrome and colour watch mode.
The smartwatch comes with buttons that are large and slip-free. This ensures it can be operated by gloves. Users can also download the dedicated app from the Play Store that will allow it to engage in the various activities.
The highlight is the battery that promises to last over a month. Another highlight is the ability to connect it to the digital Casio EXILM Outdoor Recording Gear EX-FR100 and control the camera from a distance.
It will be hitting US store shelves in April priced at $500.

The Razer Nabu Watch is a wearable that you will definitely love

Don't call it a smartwatch, because as far as Razer is concerned, this is a digital chronograph that just happens to have smarts built-in. The Nabu Watch takes an old-timey digital watch from the late '90s — specifically a Casio G Shock and its kin — and bakes in the firm's Nabu fitness tracker tech.

There's no pixel-dense display here, but three separate modules, the top two showing the date and time in glorious dot matrix. The lower third plays home to a 128 x 16 OLED screen that matches the one you'll find on the Nabu band itself. Thankfully, all of the same fitness, sleep tracking and social features from the original haHardware-wise, there's five buttons on the device, two on either side of the bezel (that match old-timey watch buttons like Mode, Set, Adjust and Light). At the bottom of the case you'll find a switch that lets you cycle through the various read outs on the Nabu portion. This combination of low-fi and high-tech continues through to the power situation, since the timepiece will draw power from a cell battery that's expected to last between 12 and 18 months. The Nabu, by comparison, charges using the same proprietary pins as the original and needs re-juicing once a week.

My forearms are pretty big and I can wear a 50mm watch without it looking oversized on my wrist, but the Nabu Watch is still noticeably large. That bigness was part of the charm of, say, Casio's G-Shock watches, and this is clad in similarly sturdy rubber. Then again, I can't imagine people being able to wear this while dressed in a long-sleeved shirt or other formal occasions. Still, it'll draw plenty of envious glances while you compete at LAN parties or while running a marathon.

Razer is one of the most beloved gaming companies in the world and its fanbase is as loyal and devoted as anyone could want. Owning its products feels as if you're a member of a super-exclusive club and the company has a great handle on what its users desire. I can imagine plenty of people within Team Razer to plonk down the $149 (or $199 for the more expensive option) without a moment's notice. On the other hand, I doubt the timepiece will have much appeal for mainstream buyers, who could get a similar-looking Casio for a smaller chunk of cash.ve made it across to this new variation.

This wearable makes you feel like a Jedi!

A New Wearable Lets You Control Sphero's BB-8 Using the Force
So how do you make the coolest Star Wars toy ever even cooler? Having finally given everyone an interactive droid they can call their own, later this year Sphero will also be giving Star Wars fans the ability to control BB-8 using the Force—or at least motion-tracked gestures that will make you feel like a Jedi.
A New Wearable Lets You Control Sphero's BB-8 Using the Force
Earlier today at CES, Sphero demonstrated the prototype hardware of its upcoming motion-tracking wearable that’s designed to pair with and control the company’s insanely popular rolling BB-8 toy. The production version of the wearable will look completely different when it ships later in the year, the company assures us, but functionality will be very similar to what was demonstrated for Gizmodo today in Las Vegas.
A New Wearable Lets You Control Sphero's BB-8 Using the Force
Instead of sliding your finger across a set of virtual controls on the touchscreen of a smartphone or a tablet, Sphero’s new wearable is packed full of ultra-sensitive gyroscopic motion sensors that track the subtlest of Jedi movements, and then translates them into commands for BB-8.
A New Wearable Lets You Control Sphero's BB-8 Using the Force
In addition to sending the tiny droid rolling away and then calling it back using push and pull motions, the wearable can also be used to precisely steer it around obstacles (how often has your BB-8 gotten stuck somewhere?) and trigger pre-programmed moves.
Depending on how you hold your arm and what motions you’re making, there are various control modes, indicated via a color-changing LED on the prototype hardware, letting you even control BB-8’s head movements so the droid can respond to other people interacting with it.
It’s far too early for Sphero to divulge pricing info for the new accessory, but in a roundabout way it will actually make the BB-8 toy slightly more affordable because you no longer need an expensive smartphone or tablet to play with it. The wearable interacts with the rolling droid all by itself, without the need for the Sphero app running on expensive hardware.
A New Wearable Lets You Control Sphero's BB-8 Using the Force
When finally available the wearable will be sold as a bundle with Sphero’s BB-8, or on its own for every one who already has one of the RC toys, but is tired of being completely dependent on the touchscreen app for interacting with it.
A New Wearable Lets You Control Sphero's BB-8 Using the Force
And if you’ve seen the movie and find you prefer the worn-out look on BB-8 instead of the original shiny version, Sphero will also be selling a new ‘battle damage’ edition of the droid that has clearly survived an adventure or two.

What if we told you that you can buy a smart bra?

One of the trends we're expecting to see more of at CES is wearable technology built directly into clothing — something that comes with its own practical constraints (like washing it) but could ultimately be more useful than a wrist device that ends up in a drawer. Something that you wear all the time anyway. Something like ... a bra.

OmSignal, a Canadian company that makes "smart" compression shirts for men, is showing off a sports bra for women that tracks heart rate, breathing rate, and calories burned, among other metrics. The data is recorded through a sensor-filled black box that snaps into the lower band of the sports bra, along the rib cage. The data is then wirelessly shared to OmSignal's mobile app. The mobile app will also have a new option called OmRun, which, when used with the smart bra, will measure distance, pace, breathing rhythm, and fatigue levels during running workouts.

A smart bra that tells you to work out harder

We haven't tested this enough yet to warrant a full review, but I've worn a pre-production OmSignal sports bra during a couple workouts now, and it's actually comfortable — way more comfortable than I expected a sports bra with a thick black plastic box to be. It has optional padding, adjustable straps, and a secure clasp in the back.

Maybe more importantly, the app offers some interesting insights. Not only does it show a live stream of biometrics during exercise, but afterward, it told me which heart rate zones I hit and for how much time, my estimated recovery time, and something called a "push score." (You feel pretty good about an hour-long workout until an app tells you that you exercised at a light warm-up level for around 45 minutes of that workout.)

Not surprisingly, the bra isn't cheap, with an estimated price of $150. OmSignal's compression shirt kits for men start at around $275, and cost even more once you throw a high-end apparel partner (like Ralph Lauren) into the mix. Other companies selling sensor-filled clothes, like Athos and Hexoskin, charge comparable or higher prices for their products, as well.

Stay tuned for a full review of the smart bra, which is expected to ship in the spring.

Here's why hoverboards is a trend that should remain in 2015

Hoverboards were the hottest gift under the Christmas tree this year, and many people spent Friday learning how to use their new toys — with painful results.

It was, shall we say, a steep learning curve.

People had little falls…

…and people had big falls.

The hard surface of the street was maybe not the best place to give it a try.

Some people gave up straightaway.

While others who thought they were getting the hang of it quickly discovered they weren’t.

Bones were broken.

Elbows were hurt.

And knees were seriously, seriously grazed. (LOOK AWAY FROM THIS ONE IF THAT KIND OF STUFF GROSSES YOU OUT).

Mostly, though, people couldn’t seem to control the damn things.

Which meant we were all blessed with great Christmas videos like these.
